day 1 : Mhamid – sidi Naji

We start our first walking day towards sidi Naji. the duration of walking will be around 5 hours in total. you will find camels, camelmen and a cook waiting for you in the village of Mhamid. we will start walking with camels, heading towards the the end of palm trees grove, where we break for lunch . after lunch, you take a nap and we then walk to Sidi Naji passing by different desert landscapes and sceneries. When we arrive there we make our camp for the night.

day 2 : Sidi Naji – Erg Zahar

After Breakfast, we start trekking towards one of the highest dunes, passing by the ruins of Ksar bousnina, an ancient kasbah. As usual, we take a break for lunch under the shady trees of Tamarisk. Afterwards, we continue our journey to Erg Zahar Dunes to marvel at the golden and well-shaped dunes from top of which you can watch the sunset. We spend the night near these dunes

day 3: Erg Zahar – Erg ait ounir

After breakfast, we’ll commence walking to another place which is not far from the the dry valley of Draa , which is called Erg Ait Ounir. After a few hours of walking, we break for lunch under the shadow of tamarisk tree. Afterwards we continue Walking to explore other beautiful places in the Sahara Desert . We arrive at “Erg ait ounir” before sunset ,we then put up our tents to spend the night under stars.

day 4 : Erg ait ounir- Mhamid

The duration of walking will be around 5:30 h to arrive in Mhamid. You better be a morning person so as not to miss a beautiful sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, we start walking towards Mhamid passing by different parts of the desert. we stop in “Douib” to have lunch; after that we continue walking to Mhamid.
