The 1st day : Mhamid – Sidi Naji
We start our first walking day towards Sidi Naji Marabout. The duration of walking will be estimated with 5 hours, you will find camels, camelmen and a cook waiting you in the village of Mhamid and start walking in harmony with camels. We visit the ancient kasbah or “ancient Mhamid ” . After that we recontinue walking to the last part of palm trees before we stop for lunch . You can have a nap after we walk again to join the Marabout passing from different desert landscapes, we will arrive there before the sun sets down. We then set up our bivouac to pass the night.

The 2nd day : Sidi Naji – Erg Zahar
After Breakfast, we restart walking towards one of the highest dunes passing aside the ruins of Ksar bousnina or ancient kasbah. As usual, we have a break for lunch under the shady trees of Tamarisk. Later, afterwards, we continue our journey to Erg Zahar Dunes to see how golden and well-shaped these highest dunes and do not miss watching the sun sets down from the peak. We pass the night near these dunes.

The 3rd day : Erg Zahar- Erg Sedra
We start our rhythm of walk following the paces of dromedaries caravan. After a few hours of walking we cross the Valley of Draa to have lunch in Erg Smar. , After you enjoy a nap under the Tamarisk, We continue trekking for a few hours to arrive to Erg Sedra. We set up our tented camp for overnight, dinner and pass the night.

The 4th day : Erg Sedara- Erg chegaga

After breakfast , our destination will be one of the most highest and largest dunes in Morocco, stretching over a length of 40 km. It is a beautiful series of dunes. After 3 hours of walking passing different various landscapes of the desert, we pause for lunch. Afterwards, we continue walking to chegaga dunes to enjoy an unforgettable sunset there. We settle down our tents and pass the night there.

The 5th day : Erg chigaga – Bougarn

We take the path to Mhamid «the gateway of the desert». After breakfast among the dunes of chegaga, we trek for 3 hours, then the lunch break will be later on, after that we recommence walking to the dunes of Bougarn where the night will be near the dunes.

The 6th day : Bougarn – Mezouaria

Be a morning person to watch the sunrise from the peak of the last series of highest dunes before arriving to Mhamid. After breakfast, we trek as usual for 3 hours in the direction to Mezouaria crossing a large stony desert. We take lunch then we continue to Mezouaria. We set up our camp of a the last night in the desert .

The 7th day : Mezouaria – Mhamid

During the last day in the desert, we head towards Mhamid. We walk for a few hours before we stop for lunch. Afterwards, we walk again, we arrive Mhamid at the afternoon, to enjoy having your hot-water shower in a fixed camp and look for a last dinner together .
